During the NFBI symposium on 13 October in Leiden, professor Hans Reiber was awarded with a Royal decoration “Officier in de Orde van Oranje Nassau”. Directly after his keynote speech at the end of the program, mayor Lenferink of Leiden entered the lecture hall to do the honors.
